Principles stated on the Armed Forces Tea Party Facebook page:

We are Not a militia.
We are Not advocating or promoting the overthrow of any government whether local, state or national.
We are Not advocating or promoting violence towards any organization, group or person.
We are Not advocating or promoting that anyone in the Judicial Branch be removed or replaced.
We are Not advocating or promoting any particular form of government other than the Constitutional Republic which the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution defined and instituted.
We are Not advocating or promoting the rewriting of the Constitution nor are we asking for an Amendment thereto.
We are Not advocating or promoting any act or acts of aggression against any organization or person for any reason…

Interesting that Armed Forces Tea Party thought it important to state these things up front.

For extended discussion of these issues related to change in our government, read Revolution on the Ground. You can learn more about this book at The Jeffersonian.

Remember this simple truth about what remains of our republic: if we return to Constitutional government, it means we much abolish or replace existing governmental practices and institutions. The question of our time is whether we can accomplish that revolution, and whether we can accomplish that revolution without violence initiated by those who seek change. If we can answer yes to both questions, we can save our republic. If we cannot answer yes to both questions, our republic is lost.
